Review Management Policy

How we collect, verify and display reviews — transparent, no incentivised reviews, no AI-generated reviews.

Trust is the most expensive thing on a charter site, which is why our review-management process is documented and the same for everyone.

Where reviews come from

Google Business Profile reviews — collected directly by Google after a customer interaction with the listing. We do not edit, hide or filter Google reviews.
Post-charter feedback emails — sent to every charterer after disembarkation. Replies that grant publication permission may be displayed on this site, attributed by first name and country only (not full identity).
Third-party platform reviews — where we are listed on review platforms or charter aggregators, those platforms' own moderation rules apply.

Verification

Every review displayed on this website is tied to a real charter booking in our system. We do not buy reviews. We do not generate AI reviews. We do not accept incentivised reviews (no discounts in exchange for positive ratings). We do not display anonymous testimonials with no traceable booking record.

Editing

We may correct typos, translate from another language for clarity, or trim extreme length — but never alter sentiment. The original full text is retained in our records and is available on request to any party with a legitimate interest.

Right to reply & removal

If you authored a review and want it removed, edited, or your name redacted, email [email protected] with subject "Review removal". We action removal requests within seven days.

If you are a third party who believes a review is defamatory or otherwise unlawful, please follow the takedown procedure described in our Disclaimer.

How the homepage aggregate rating is calculated

The aggregate rating shown on the homepage reflects a rolling average of reviews across our verified channels. The number is recalculated whenever a new review is verified and published.

Public Google ratings can be independently verified on our Google Business Profile.

What we will not do

We will not pressure charterers to leave a review during their charter or in immediate post-charter contact.
We will not threaten to penalise a charterer (cancellation fees, future-booking refusal) for a negative review.
We will not display reviews that mention personally identifiable information about other guests, crew or third parties without consent.
We will not display reviews that were written by someone who never sailed with us.
