    All content on this website — including catamaran specifications, photography, route descriptions and editorial — is © Athena Catamarans unless explicitly marked otherwise. Manufacturer brand names (Lagoon, Bali, Excess, Nautitech, Fountaine Pajot) are used to identify yacht models and remain the property of their respective owners.

    2. Indexing & Ranking of Listings

    In line with the EU Platform-to-Business Regulation (Regulation 2019/1150) we disclose how catamarans are ordered on this website:

    2.1 Listing pages

    The /catamarans/ page presents the fleet in three sections:

    • Luxury Crewed Catamarans — flagship vessels with full crew (captain, hostess, chef). Sorted by length descending.
    • Skippered Catamarans — hand-curated fleet sailed by a professional captain. Sorted by typical popularity (size and price ascending).
    • Skippered Catamarans (Ionian) — partner-fleet vessels sailed by a professional captain. Sorted by import order (most recently added first).

    We do not use paid placement, sponsored boost or commission-based reranking. Order does not change based on advertising spend.

    2.2 Search filters & default sorts

    When a charterer applies a filter (e.g. dates, region, guest count), results are re-ordered by direct relevance to that filter — for example, vessels available on the requested dates are shown first, then by guest capacity match, then by listing rules above.

    2.3 Differentiated treatment

    We treat all vessels in our fleet on equal terms regardless of ownership (own fleet vs. partner-managed). The only differential is information depth — luxury crewed catamarans receive more detailed editorial because the price point and crew arrangement justify it.

    3. Dispute Resolution Policy

    We aim to resolve any complaint quickly, fairly and free of charge.

    3.1 Step 1 — Direct contact

    Email [email protected] with subject "Complaint <your booking reference>". A senior charter manager replies within five business days, often the same day.

    3.2 Step 2 — Internal escalation

    If you are not satisfied with the first response, request escalation to the operations director. We commit to a final written position within 30 days of the original complaint.

    3.3 Step 3 — Independent dispute resolution

    Greek consumers and EU residents may use the European Commission's free Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. We are not currently a member of an out-of-court ADR body but will engage with any certified ADR body the customer initiates.

    3.4 Step 4 — Courts

    The contract is governed by Greek law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Athens, Greece. Consumers retain any non-waivable rights granted by the law of their country of residence.

    4. Review Management Policy

    Trust is the most expensive thing on a charter site. Here is exactly how we collect, verify and display reviews.

    4.1 Sources

    • Google Business Profile reviews — collected directly by Google after a customer interaction. We do not edit, hide or filter Google reviews.
    • Post-charter feedback emails — sent to every charterer two days after disembarkation. Replies that grant publication permission may be displayed on this site, attributed by first name and country only.

    4.2 Verification

    Every review displayed on this site is tied to a real charter booking in our system. We do not buy reviews, generate AI reviews, or accept incentivised reviews. We do not display anonymous testimonials with no traceable booking.

    4.3 Editing

    We may correct typos, translate from another language for clarity, or trim extreme length — but never alter sentiment. The original full text is retained in our records and available on request.

    4.4 Right of reply & removal

    If you authored a review and want it removed, edited, or your name redacted, email [email protected]. We action removal requests within seven days.

    4.5 Aggregate ratings

    The "4.9 / 47 reviews" figure on the homepage reflects the rolling 24-month average of reviews across our verified channels. The number is recalculated when a new review is published. Public Google ratings are linked from our Google Business Profile and can be independently verified there.

    5. Intellectual Property

    All photography commissioned by Athena Catamarans, all editorial copy, and all original schemas are licensed under standard copyright. Catamaran builder logos and trade names belong to their respective owners (Lagoon Catamarans, Catana Group, Fountaine Pajot Group, Bavaria Yachts & Nautitech, Excess Catamarans by Beneteau Group). Reproducing site content beyond the legal exceptions of EU Directive 2001/29 requires written permission.
